- God chooses and approves people based on the heart, not appearance or status.
David’s Testing
- David was a man after God’s own heart — not because he was perfect, but because:
- His heart was aligned with God’s will
- He sought God earnestly
- He demonstrated obedience and faith.
- He was quick to repent when he sinned.
So now what?
* We need a King who brings God near.
* Jesus is the true and better King
