Three Lessons Abram Journey teaches us about Faith
1. Faith Requires us to Respond to God’s Call
a. Understanding
b. Clarity
2. Faith Requires Patience and Endurance.
Abram’s promise requires patience, and endurance. And it’s the same with us. We want the Lord to do a great work in our lives; we want him to fulfill his promises but we’re impatient.
3. Faith requires placing our Trust in God.
Abram had been waiting for years, he had endured a difficult walk, and he still had no clarity or understanding of when God intended to fulfill the promise. Yet when God simply reaffirmed it and promised him once again, Abram believed.
