The Greatest Love - Romans 5:8
I. God is the Creator
* God created us for his own glory and for fellowship
* When we don’t live as God intends, we feel that disunity and disharmony
* God’s holiness means
-God is different than his creation
-God is pure and has nothing to do with sin
III. The Cross of Jesus
* The cross represents God taking care of our sins himself
* On the cross, He bore our griefs, carried our sorrows, and took the punishment we deserved
* Jesus was raised again as proof of God’s approval and acceptance of him.
IV. Man’s Response for a Transformed Life
* Trust fully in what Christ has done.
* Be reconciled to God
* Deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Him
* Pursue Holiness
