Everyday Evangelism

Circle 1: God’s Plan
     • God has a plan that encompasses all of history and every detail of our daily lives.
     • Anytime we step outside of God’s plan, that is sin.

Circle 2: Brokenness
     • Stepping outside God’s design leaves us feeling empty, used, guilty, or full of regret.
     • Brokenness is not the worst place to be — it shows us something needs to change.

Circle 3: Jesus
     • God sees us in our brokenness and has provided the only real solution.
     • He invites us to turn from trying to fix ourselves and place our trust in Him.
     • We receive forgiveness, the Holy Spirit, a church family, and can pursue God’s design.

How to Use the 3 Circles
     • Use them whenever someone shares a problem, issue, or challenge.
     • You don’t have to force scripture quotes. Simply speak the truth of scripture: God has a plan →  stepping outside it leads to brokenness → Jesus is the change we need.
     • God has a plan →  stepping outside it leads to brokenness →  Jesus is the change we need.

Practical Exhortations

     1. Relationships don’t have to be long or in-depth.

     2. Not every conversation needs to become a gospel conversation.

     3. This requires practice.

     4. It is highly adaptable.
