Judges 1-2
"The High Cost of Compromise"

I. Partial Obedience Looks Practical
   * Israel defeated some Canaanites but left others in the land, as the tribes chose forced labor instead of full removal and reinterpreted God’s clear command for their own advantage

II. Compromise Brings Judgement
   * The Angel of the Lord confronted Israel at Bochim, declaring, “You have not obeyed My voice,” and pronounced that the remaining Canaanites would become thorns in their sides and snares to trap them.

III. Key Lessons of Judges
   * The Vicious Cycle of Sin
   * The Dangers of Compromise
   * God’s Unfailing Grace
   * Impact of Disobedience on Future Generations
   * The Need for Better Leadership

So now what:
Today, if you hear the voice of the Angel of the Lord confronting your compromise, do not merely weep at Bochim. Turn fully to Christ. Repent, receive His mercy, and let Him break the vicious cycle in your life.
